Helene dreams in kinetic impressionism, worthless specks melting and seeping together to create a thing grander and cleverer than they. Here she breathes to tear her mind apart; here she sleeps nightly to dream of many insignificant little Helenes melting to shape an arrogant blue-haired librarian, and every morning Helene wakes to dream of killing her. This is who she can't help but be; she'll ride the cracks in her soul hoping they'll lead her to a body unbroken, a life untouched she can possess.
She wonders if, like her, Holly will scream a symphony of mad, bloody reds before fading.
