Whenever someone invited her to play mother may I, Jaida would (almost) always win; when she went against orders and took eight steps forward, and when someone protested, she would scoff, "What are you, my mother?"
Which would of course be that, because nobody, not even Mrs. Ames, wanted to be Jaida's mother.
Regardless, when another player demanded absolutely that she take the agreed upon one step forward, two back, Jaida would comply, because even then she knew that the two most important things in the world were cojones and a steely spine. She would always respect strength of character.
